Directions to Camp Fretterd
Camp Fretterd is located just outside of Reisterstown, MD. The entrance to the Camp is on MD Route 30/Hanover Rd, just south of Glen Falls Road.
From Baltimore:
From the northwest corner of the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), take Exit 19 (it only goes in one direction) onto Route 795. Follow to the end of the expressway (about 10 miles).
As the expressway ends, stay to the left. The expressway ends at a traffic light at Route 140. Go through this intersection to the next traffic light, Hanover Pike (Route 30).
Make a left onto Hanover Pike (Route 30).
Go about two miles to a blinking traffic light and turn left into the Maryland Army National Guard base on Rue Saint Lo Drive.
Have your CAP ID and/or driver's license ready for the security guards.
You will park at the first parking lot in front of the Armory, where you will say farewell to your cadets, who will then be escorted to Check-In by Encampment staff.
NOTE: For those who want to use Google Maps or similar programs, Rue Saint Lo Drive is not typically found. Use the intersection of Hanover Pike and Glen Falls Road. Rue Saint Lo Drive is about 1/4 mile before Glen Falls Road.
