I sent in my application, but it has not appeared on the application status page yet. Is something wrong?

There's no need to worry. We will update the application status page as often as we can. All applications are sent to Maryland Wing Headquarters and staff members volunteer to pick up the applications once a week or so to process them. As we get closer to the encampment, this should become more frequent.

I've sent in my application, but I heard that I have some additional forms that I need to fill out. Where do I get those and what do I do with them?

You can find these forms by clicking on 'Resources' at the top of the page and then by choosing 'Encampment Prerequisites' from the side menu. All of these forms should be completed and returned prior to the encampment. The address to mail them to is the same for your application. It is:

The encampment has started and I was told that there would be photos posted each day. I looked through the photos, but I don't see any of my child. Should I be worried?

Absolutely not. There are nearly 200 basic cadets and another 50 staff members. It is unlikely that you would see every cadet in each set of daily photos. Our Public Affairs Staff works hard to make sure that there is a good mix of photos each day and that they appear online on time. However, sometimes we miss out on certain cadets. Hopefully you'll be seeing your child in photos in the coming days.
